Not Under Law (or Twelve Steps) But Under Grace

This revelation arrived to me last week!

We are not under law, but under grace.

We are not in Adam to try and live this life in our strength, but we are under the Grace of God, which we receive through Christ and Him Crucified, and His Spirit is shed forth in our lives.

We do not need the Ten Commandments any more once we receive His Life in our dead bodies.

We reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ through His righteousness (Romans 6: 11-14)

We are not under law, but under grace.

We cannot come to God with any spirit of freedom and grace as long as we still think that the ordinances of the Ten Commandments are dead-set against us.

We are dead to the law ladies and gentle,a

(Romans 7: 4)

I was still operating with a sense of guilt and shame in many areas of my life, because I would remember things that I had done in my past.

And then I would see the Ten Commandments, none of which I had kept perfectly.

Then the  more that I tried to be obedient, the worse it got.

The law was never intended to make us holy, but show us that we are wholly unholy, and need His redemption, justification, and then sanctification (1 Corinthians 1: 30)

Jesus becomes all things for us, and thus we can allow Him to give us all things! (Romans 8: 32)

We are made the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5: 21) and in Christ we are freed from the curse of the law (Galatians 3: 13)

We are not under law, which is the strength of sin (1 Corinthians 15: 56-57), but under grace, which teaches us all things (Titus 2: 11-12)

If  we place ourselves under the rudiments of the world (Colossians 2:8-10), we end up activating dead in Adam flesh, instead of allowing His Spirit to flow. If  we seek to be justified by any such weak and beggarly elements, we fall from grace (Galatians 5:4) and make the Cross of no effect in our lives!

We are not under law, and that includes the Twelve Steps as well as the Ten Commandments, Beloved Believers! Grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord, and Let His grace flow freely in your life today!
