It's All In Your Head

Alcoholics Anonymous leads people to live in and through their heads.

All our thinking and feeling then gets tied up, tied back to ourselves.

That is the scam of AA, in a nut shell.

By telling people that they can choose their own conception of God, guess what -- they end looking to themselves for help.

Whatever God they come up with will end up getting colored by their prior experience and feelings.

People who see Jesus through the Twelve Steps instead of resting in Him through the Word will find themselves going in circles, struggling to stay sober and peaceful in a world filled with unforeseen setbacks and upsets.

We do not need to do more with our minds or our feelings.

We need a greater revelation of all that God is and has and does.

If we want to know God the Father, we need to know God the Son.

We are not gaining any information if we invest in ourselves in a wrong conception of the very beginning of all things.

If we think of God as conceived in our minds, we will find ourselves prone to more fears, not fewer.

We have to understand that we cannot understand God, but rather that He understands us, and that He cares about every aspect of our lives, even if we are not always on our best behavior.

Righteousness is a gift which we receive not, something that we strive for in our efforts.

Not Twelve Steps, but one Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified.

Grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord today!
