His Love is More Than Enough

I hate Alcoholics Anonymous.

It is an evil cult which teaches people that God loves you .... BUT

1. You are an alcoholic
2. You must work a program.
3. If you get angry, God will be cut off from you -- and it's your fault.
4. If you don't work your program. you will die.

LIES! LIES! LIES!

What kind of father says to their children:

"You need to work these 12 Steps, or you are going to die!"

What kind of father treats their children like that? REALLY?!

Yet that was the AA cult.

Here's the passage, where Bill W. asserts the lie that "God is our Father. We are His children."

This is the how and why of it. First of all, we had to quit playing God. It didn't work. Next, we decided that hereafter in this drama of life, God was going to be our Director. He is the Principal; we are His agents. He is the Father, and we are His children. Most good ideas are simple, and this concept was the keystone of the new and triumphant arch through which we passed to freedom. (pg 62)

There is a massive conflict in this passage at the outset. A Father is not some mere head of the household, nor should a father be compared to the principal in a company.

This is all wrong, and yet it goes to show how AA falsely teaches people to see God.

He loves us unconditionally, He graces us eternally, and from there we serve Him! That is what love is about!

"We love because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19, NIV)

And let's not forget that He so loves us!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

He SO LOVED Us.

"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." (1 John 4:11)

I need to know how LOVED I am. Then there's no need to drink, to smoke, to run to other addictions.

When we get something better, we don't have to settle for less!
