Not In Our Minds, But in Himself

We cannot rest in our own conception of God.

We need to receive the growing revelation of Christ and Him Crucified.

His death, His resurrection, His life rests outside of us, not within us.

This notion of "own conception of God" has created bondage and pain more than anything else.

There is no peace, there is no rest if we think that we must hold some idea of God in our heads, and inevitably this idea of God cannot make sense of this fallen earth without a proper revelation of all that He is, based on the Word of God.

Jesus is our High Priest, seated at God's right hand.

And we are up there with him:

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" (Ephesians 2: 4-6)

We have to reason from Christ, not from ourselves -- and that includes throwing away this contemptible fraud that we can create or operate from our own conception of God.

Not in our minds, but in Himself do we find the peace and prosperity so dear and thus near!
